THE HEIR

CAUTION!!! CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THE SELECTION, THE ELITE AND THE ONE!!!

Although I was devastated that this story didn't revolve around America and Maxon as the central characters, I was excited to find out about their daughter Eadlyn as she goes through her selection process. The Bachelor now becomes The Bachelorette. Eadlyn grows bonds and close connections with more than one boy...unlike her father she doesn't want to find love and is only doing this for her parents. The readers also get an insight into the marriage of America and Maxon twenty years after the selection.

I fell in love with Eadlyn almost immediately and notices connections between herself and her parents. Her relationships with her family, other castle residents, and the selected boys is also very entertaining. I myself fell in love with some of the selected boys, and unlike Maxon's selection where it was obvious who he would pick to reign beside him, Eadlyn has seemed to grow close with a few of the boys and I think any one them could be her potential prince.

I'm devastated that the next book, The Crown, doesn't come out until May next year and Cass has concluded that it will be the last book (sigh) I can't wait to find out what happens and how it ends, especially since The Heir ends with such a cliff hanger...

I rate the books 5 stars out of 5 again for any book...but compared to the first three books of the series I would rate it a 4.9 just because I didn't find it as good as the others. But overall I still LOVED it :)

Thanks for reading Xx
