JULY Wrap Up

I had a really good reading month this month! Lucky for me I had the month off for uni, which meant lots of time for reading. I also participated in two readathons (Biannual Bibliothon and Booktube-A-Thon) which also helped to increase the number of books I read.

Some of the books I read I really loved, however I read a few that I didn't really like as well. I did blog posts for the two readathons, so if you want to see my more detailed thoughts on the books I read in the readathons, all links will be at the bottom of each section. I will also include all YouTube videos I did that relate to this month or any reviews I did on books.

Here's what I thought;

The Summer I Turned Pretty and It's Not Summer Without You - Jenny Han
-Absolutely loved these books and the trilogy overall. Such a nice contemporary that followed much loved characters. Team Conrad all the way!

The Isle of the Lost - Melissa De La Cruz
-I watched Disney Descendants when it first came out and LOVED it! Such a cute and enjoyeable read about the children of Disney's most evils villains. Can't wait to read the sequel next.
5 Stars

Whisper to Me - Nick Lake
-Sent to me for review by Bloomsbury. One of the best and most powerful books I've ever read. It covers important aspects of mental health, family relationships, friendships, romance, and finding yourself.

Burning - Danielle Rollins
-Sent to me for review by Bloomsbury. It was an okay read, yet I didn't love it. It reminded me of OITNB mixed with Carrie, and I loved both those things. However, it was missing the 'WOW Factor'.

The Witch's Kiss - Katharine and Elizabeth Corr
-Sent to me for review by Harper Collins. I was meant to read this during the BookTube-A-Thon, however I didn't get around to it. When I read it over the last week of the month, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
-3.5 Stars

So that's my month of reading! I read 18 books which I am extremely happy with! Comment below how many books you read or if you participated in any readathons, and I'll see you all again real soon :)
